We’re delighted to announce that POTUS – our brand new American pale ale – was named Beer of the Festival at Burghfest.
It was selected from more than 35 beers available at the festival, which saw thousands of people heading to Burghfield for the inaugural event.
POTUS is brewed with centennial, sterling, azacca and wai-iti hops, making it tropical, fruity and completely delicious. At 4.7% it packs a punch, as well as offering perfect late summer refreshment.
Event organisers said: “After long and hard deliberation, and more than a few pints of it on the day, we are delighted to announce the winners of the Burghfest Best Beer. I am sure there will be many views on this, and with 35 different beers to select from, it was no easy task!
“But 3rd place goes to Hampshire’s own Kismet, 2nd place to the current best beer in Britain – Bingham’s Vanilla Stout – but 1st place, by a landslide, is the brand new beer from Loddon Brewery P.O.T.U.S – way more deserved than its two potential namesakes in the US elections!”
Thanks to everyone who voted for us!
